  • We can provide a comprehensive list of professional and client references.
  • We are fully insured.  We carry Workers Compensation Insurance, General Liability Insurance, Builders Risk Insurance, and our sub-contractors are required to carry their own insurance.  This provides you, the homeowner, two layers of protection.  We will gladly provide proof of our insurance upon request.
  • We are a licensed General Contractor in North Carolina.  We are licensed to build both residential and commercial buildings.
  • We are licensed for projects with an unlimited cost limitation.
  • We are agreeable to changes while your home is under construction.  It is our belief that this is your home and it should be built the way you want it.
  • You are welcome to visit your home, our job site, as often as you want, and ask question if you like.  We ask only that you keep safety in mind when visiting the job site.
  • We are a member of the national, state, and Johnston County Home Builders associations.  We have been a Master Accredited Builder by NC Home Builders Association since 2007
  • We are a member of The Greater Smithfield-Selma Area Chamber of Commerce.  Our expertise and professionalism has seen us elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the local Home Builders Association and also at the state level.  Randy Summerlin has served as a past President of Johnston County Home Builders Association.
  • We are a member in good standing with the Bonded Builders, which carries extended home warranties.  This provides you with further security and peace of mind.
  • We pride ourselves in being professional at all times.  This includes all our employees as well as our subcontractors.  We will return your phone calls and answer your questions to the best of our ability in the same day and normally within just a few minutes of receiving your call.  We keep our clients informed in advance of what is scheduled to happen with their new home. 
  • After your first meeting with us, we will give you a professionally-written proposal of what you have specified and what will be put into your new home.  These specifications are typed and detailed.
  • Specifications are updated during the planning stages and finally incorporated into you final contract. We thoroughly review and explain the specifications to you and provide examples and photographs to help clarify everything.
  • We provide generous allowance for appliances, light fixtures, and all other items that have allowances.  We use name brand items and purchase them from reputable suppliers who stand behind their products.
  • We build our houses higher off-the-ground than many contractors.  This cost a little more but for you the homeowner, it offers many advantages.  It enables easy access, better ventilation, reduces the risk of rot and termite damage, and provides more space for equipment, such as hot water heaters, HVAC, etc.
